History

1948: Foundation of the company ‘Van Looveren Transport’ to convey glass from the manufacturer to the horticulturists.
1951: Under the direction of the second generation, the company expands to what is now Van Looveren NV.
1993: Van Looveren NV occupies the new building in Oelegem.
1996: The third generation takes over the helm of a family business, which has already held its own for 52 years, independently and with its own means, in the same market segment.

Infrastructure

The new building of 1993, on a 18,000 m˛ site, is fully tuned to dealing with horticultural glass in all its aspects. At the moment, the transhipment volume amounts to 300 tons a day, but the building allows a capacity of at least 500 tons a day.

In Oelegem virtually all types of vehicles can be loaded and unloaded. Here the horticultural glass can be cut to the size specified by the customer and provided with the typical packaging.

Logistics

Van Looveren NV operates fully autonomously. Each truck and application specifically developed handling material are your guarantee for a perfect service from factory to building site.

Staff

The experienced and multilingual staff is familiar with the valid legislation with respect to customs, VAT, transport, etc. The company’s family character ensures a deep involvement and devotion right up to the most minute detail.
