FLOAT GLAS

Van Looveren NV is known in the trade as a fervent promoter of float glass. Its strength, looks, cutting properties, exact dimensional tolerances and its lasting light transmission contribute to the fact that this type of glass is the preferred material for many greenhouse builders and horticulturists.

Float glass can be worked further into tempered glass, mounted into double glazing or glued together to make laminated glass. During production, coatings can be applied to produce heat deflecting glass or glass with better insulation properties (e.g. Hortiplus N®), or coloured glass for aesthetic purposes.
