Sun-reflective glass for horticulture

Sundim® is float glass of 4mm thickness with a hard, durable bronze-brownlike coating on one side. The coated side has to be placed facing outwards and hereby provides an approximate 50% reflection of the sunlight.

Sundim® mainly finds its purpose in areas where shading is desirable. For example as roofglass in tecnical areas of greenhouses or shoppingareas in gardencenters. Sundim keeps the temperature from rising and offers an ideal optical comfort.

Sundim® is also used in the sides of the greenhouse for its esthetic aspect. Furthermore the reflection offers privacy.

Sundim® is applied just like any normal horticultural glass. Eventual cutting may be done on the non-coated side. Thus it is used in every modern greenhouse system. It can be assembled into double glazing and it can be toughened. Sometimes thoughening is necessary.

Sundim®, unlike most alternative products, does not wear out in time. The coated side may be cleaned perfectly in the normal way.
